WELCOME TO THE ACO
The Amsterdam Community Orchestra (ACO) is a volunteer-driven orchestra that brings together musicians of all ages, backgrounds, and skill levels to perform beautiful, ambitious music in a supportive environment. We create a space where musicians can return to their instruments, grow their confidence, and reconnect with the joy of playing in an ensemble. Each season culminates in a public concert that celebrates community, creativity, and the power of music to bring people together. Our vision is to keep the orchestra accessible and open to everyone.
Today, the orchestra hosts an annual season, consisting of 8 rehearsals, followed by a season concert. We're a group of about 30 musicians from over 10 different nationalities who come together to rehearse, share a drink and connect over our shared love for orchestral music.
